Video of Trump removing mask sends Media into hysteria

Mask sanctimony is at an all-time high. Upon his return to the White House from Walter Reed Medical Center, President Trump famously removed his mask on the balcony and the effects of this was something the world has never seen before.

Since then, we have been bombarded with insane hot takes and nauseating levels of lecturing about how not wearing masks makes us murderers. For the record, I’m not anti-mask. I’m anti-you lecturing me about masks as well as anti-mask mandate. Just a little disclaimer there for those who might accuse me of being a genocidal monster.

Here are some of the most hysterical and self-righteous takes on the good ol’ Tweeter:

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes can usually be counted on to say something over the top.

Paula Reid from CBS made sure to also add on to the attacks and even managed to include a Russian connection to the White House “disinformation” tweets. And if you didn’t know, she’s now being tested daily.

“Conservative” columnist Jennifer Rubin from the Washington Post also had some problems with Trump taking his mask off. In fact, she thinks it might be time to just defund Walter Reed entirely because it is a public health hazard.

Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post is a permanent fixture to any list containing deranged rants. Thank heavens for screenshots.

And the take of all takes belongs to Ben Tracy. Tracy feels more comfortable reporting from North Korea — an extreme authoritarian dictatorship — than the White House.

There you have it. Maybe getting a virus with a 99% survival rate is more dangerous than coveringRocket Man. Wow, these journalists lead such dangerous lives!

Even if masks slow the spread of COVID-19, they clearly don’t slow the spread of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
