Trump Issues Statement on Ashli Babbitt Killing; ‘Who Shot Ashli Babbitt?’

President Trump has issued a statement on the shooting of Ashli Babbitt, who was shot and killed during the January 6 Capitol events. Trump kept it brief, containing his statement to just one sentence.

“Who shot Ashli Babbitt?”

This is the first time Trump has publicly acknowledged Ashli Babbitt’s shooting death in a statement. Babbitt — an Air Force veteran — was unarmed when she was shot in the throat by a Capitol Police officer. He was separated from the protesters by doors, while multiple Capitol Police officers in riot gear were just steps behind Babbitt when she was shot. In short, his life was not in immediate danger and calls for him to be arrested are growing.

Ashli Babbitt was the lone casualty in the “deadly insurrection”, which is what the minor riot is often referred to by mainstream propaganda outlets. Loads of footage that has circulated for months shows Capitol Police officers waving the so-called “insurrectionists” into the building. Another video shows Capitol Police officers telling protesters, including the now infamous “shaman guy”, that they can remain in the building so long as they remain peaceful.

In addition to that, bombshell reporting from Revolver News has revealed that federal agents appear to have been instrumental in the planning of the “insurrection.” This includes the oft-mentioned “Oathkeepers” group, who supposedly planned the most violent acts of the day.

Still, partisan leftists continue to paint the two hour riot — in which the only person killed was unarmed Air Force veteran Ashli Babbitt — as an event worse than 9/11. Dozens of President Trump’s supporters remain in solitary confinement, refused bail on the basis of being “national security threats” for charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Given the situation, the former President’s statement has been well received by his most loyal supporters.
