Bryson Stott to Represent Phillies in 2021 MLB All-Star Futures Game

Bryson Stott has been selected to play for the National League club in the 2021 MLB Futures Game. Stott will be the lone representative for the Phillies at the 22nd annual All-Star weekend game, which will take place at Coors Field on July 11.

A 2019 first round draft selection out of UNLV, Stott has put together a solid 2021 campaign between high A Jersey Shore and AA Reading. All told, Stott is slashing .282/.413/.509 to go along with nine long balls and 22 RBIs.

In Reading, the 23-year-old has been playing shortstop exclusively. MLB.com currently ranks Stott as the second best prospect in the Phillies system.

Alec Bohm represented the Phillies in the 2019 Futures Game. The game, like all other All-Star festivities, did not take place in 2020 due to the pandemic.
