Bellator star Michael ‘Venom’ Page is eyeing a move to the UFC once his contract expires. The 34 year-old currently has one fight left on his Bellator deal, where he has been fighting since 2014.
The London native recently told Michael Bisping that he would certainly be interested in a UFC stint in the future. He revealed that getting to the UFC was a huge goal of his when he began his MMA career. “Anybody that, especially when I started, anybody that was getting in there, their whole goal was to get to the UFC. And the majority of people now are still the same,” Page said.
“There’s definitely some great matches to be made over there,” he said of the UFC. So I definitely think in the future. I don’t know when though, I can’t say when. Obviousy I’m contracted to being at Bellator, and like I said I’ve got some goals that I really wanna achieve there as well.”
Michael ‘Venom’ Page has racked up a near perfect record of 14-1 with Bellator. His lone loss came against Douglas Lima in 2019, a fighter who he is currently tied with for fifth most Bellator wins all time. Stylistically, Page is known for his unorthodox but effective striking technique. He is a tough match-up for anyone due to his reach and would generate serious UFC interest were he to ever make the jump.
