Randy Brown vs. Alex Oliveira, full fight breakdown + betting analysis

Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira (+122) vs. Randy Brown (-152)

Weight Class: Welterweight (170 lbs)

Both Randy Brown and Alex Oliveira will both be looking to get back in the win column tonight at UFC 261. For Brown, he last suffered a brutal KO to to Vicente Luque, while Oliveira was submitted by Shavkat Rakhmanov. Both fighters have a long reach advantage for the division, but Brown will have a slight edge.

Ultimately, I believe that Brown is just a bit better everywhere. He has a longer reach, better wrestling and very solid range-based striking. He will have to be careful not to get taken down, as he has had sketchy take down defense against the fence in the past.

With that said, Brown has excellent head movement while Oliveira tends to gas out. The two are in different stages of their careers, and barring a wild shot or submission, this is Brown’s fight to lose.

At -152, Randy Brown is a great value, in my opinion. Randy Brown by points at +200 is also great.

Prediction and play: Randy Brown moneyline (-152)
