On Tuesday, Nancy Pelosi told a crowd of supporters that she was thankful to George Floyd for “sacrificing his life for justice.”
The remark has been largely panned on both the left and right. “Thank you George Floyd,” she said rather gleefully. “For sacrificing your life for justice.”
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey made a similar, bizarre statement via Twitter. “George Floyd came to Minneapolis to better his life. But ultimately his life will have bettered our city,” said Frey.
Then, the Las Vegas Raiders outdid everybody by tweeting “I can breathe”, resulting in one of the biggest ratios I’ve seen on Twitter.
