Conor McGregor Was Impressed With The Bag Work From His Three Year-Old Son

Conor McGregor is set to return to the Octagon next month in what will be one of the UFC’s most anticipated fights in recent years. The Irishman is set to face off against one of the lightweight division’s elite in Dustin Poirier at UFC 257. The match-up will of course be a rematch between the two, who fought at featherweight back in 2014. McGregor emerged victorious in the first round of the previous bout, though much has changed since then. Dustin Poirier has improved dramatically and has fought for the lightweight title against Khabib Nurmagomedov.

I personally still favor McGregor heavily in the rematch, but that’s a different article.

In the meantime, “The Notorious” has been enjoying the Christmas season with his family. He recently posted a now viral video in which Conor McGregor Jr. — the double champ’s three year-old son — can be seen doing some bag work. Already, the younger McGregor has some impressive head movement and slick combinations.

The clip shows McGregor’s son teeing off on a punching ball to the back-drop of a Christmas tree. The elder McGregor proudly cheers on as he flawlessly dips his head away from the bouncing ball. Oh, and “Let It Go” is also blaring in the background, so headphone users be warned.

Are we ready for Conor McGregor’s son vs. Jake Paul’s future son sometime in the 2040’s? I imagine Khabib’s kid will be wrestling lion cubs while saying “you have to give up, you know I deserve this” by this age at a minimum, so that match-up could be tricky. Either way, it appears as though Conor McGregor Jr. has inherited some of his dad’s ability.
