You ever been to a party at an unfinished house? Me neither, but they seem to be an emerging trend following the Ahmaud Arbery shooting.
It has been a little over a week since Gregory and Travis McMichael were arrested and charged with murder for the February shooting of Ahmaud Arbery. Calls to arrest the McMichaels went viral following the release of a video of the shooting on May 5. The shooting has been called a “racially motivated hate crime” and a “lynching” by the same studios that brought us “hands up, don’t shoot.”
A grainy video in which Arbery can be seen grabbing the shotgun is all the justification needed for the mob to declare this a racially motivated hate crime. Social media has been filled with all the hyperbolic, data-less statements about how black people have always been scared to jog in white neighborhoods and the usual nonsense. Of 660,000 cases of interracial violence in 2013, blacks were the perpetrators 85% of the time. This means that a white person was 27 times more likely to be attacked by a black person than the other way around.
Despite the facts painting a totally different picture, the black lives matter movement and their rich, white liberal enablers have their narrative and they’re never moving from it. Lebron tweeted that blacks are “literally hunted” every time they step out of their houses. The fantasy narrative is that African Americans are routinely hunted and gunned down in 2020 by mobs of whites who haven’t progressed since 1930, and that is simply a psychotic delusion backed by no data.
People aren’t really disputing the arrest of the McMichael’s. Even if Ahmaud Arbery was a potential burglar, you don’t have the right to grab a shotgun and serve up some vigilante justice. A lengthy investigation will now take place and if it is determined that this is what happened, they will go to jail.
What people push back on is the blatant race hustle about to take place right before the election. Within hours of branding the Ahmuad Arbery killing as the hate crime of the decade, it was revealed that Arbery had a prior conviction for bringing a loaded fire arm into a public place.
Surveillance video was then released that showed Ahmaud Arbery poking around an unfinished house prior to the shooting.
Critics of the race narrative immediately had questions about this, as Arbery poking around an unfinished house would lend credence to the burglary claim. Constructions sites and unfinished houses are commonly burglarized since many sites lack security cameras.
Upon release of this video, many took to Twitter to state that they can frequently be found chilling in an unfinished house. You may have never heard about this craze, but it’s something that happens all the time, man.
Fence sitting conservatives at the Daily Wire can also be found at the occasional unfinished house or construction site, with Matt Walsh and Andrew Klavan weighing in.
So, there you have it. Neo-cons, white liberals and BLM activists have been trespassing in construction sites for years and forgot to tell the rest of us. I mean who hasn’t thrown a banger in an unfinished house?
