Packers’ Ha Ha Clinton Dix Honors Fallen Officers

You’d be forgiven if you thought the NFL has completely gone off the rails with the national anthem protests. Just yesterday, multiple members of the soon to be 0-16 Cleveland Browns took a knee in what was the largest single national anthem protest to date.

“Let us pray that Josh Gordon stops smoking weed”

While politics in football continues to be a source of contention, Ha-Ha Clinton Dix seeks to be above the fray.

The Alabama product, who has one of the best names in sports, used his status to honor four police officers who were slain in the line of duty by writing their names on his cleats. Two of the officers, Matt Baxter and Sam Howard, were killed last Friday in Kissimmee, Florida. Dix also honored Sgt. Debra Clayton, who was killed in December, and officer Norman Lewis who was killed in a car accident during the manhunt for Clayton’s killer.

Props to you, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix; if only you would’ve fallen one more pick to the Eagles. Philadelphia would’ve gained an exceptional player both on and off the field.
